#NotAllMuslims Arrest 8 Women In Iran For Being Instagrammed With Bare… Faces

Thanks to Ben Rhodes, Barack Obama, and all the other storytellers in the White House, we now know that the Iranians are our partners in peace. The question isn’t whether we can trust them. The question is: Why should they trust us? After all, we’re America. We’re the Great Satan. We’re everything that’s wrong with the world. We’re so decadent, we even allow our women to walk around in public without chaperones and with faces fully exposed. It’s disgraceful.

Watch and learn, infidels. BBC:

Iran has arrested eight people working for online modelling agencies deemed to be “un-Islamic”, the prosecutor of Tehran’s cybercrimes court has said.

The arrests are part of an operation that has seen women targeted for posting photos showing them not wearing headscarves on Instagram and elsewhere…

The arrests were announced by the court’s prosecutor Javad Babaei during a state television programme broadcast late on Sunday that focused on the “threats to morality and the foundation of family” posed by social media.

Mr Babaei claimed modelling agencies accounted for about 20% of posts on Instagram from Iran and that they had been “making and spreading immoral and un-Islamic culture and promiscuity”.

They’re calling it “sterilizing popular cyberspaces.” And it’s about time. Those popular cyberspaces are filthy.

If you have a problem with this, you need to step back and shut up. Christians oppress women too, y’know. What about those guys from Duck Dynasty? Or how about Focus on the Family? Are they really any better?

We have to respect Iran’s culture. Just because their beliefs are different than ours, that doesn’t make us better than them. What’s so special about America anyway?

Just to be on the safe side, it’s probably a good idea for American women to start covering themselves up when they go out in public. Their bare faces could trigger our Iranian friends, which would be insensitive. We must respect their feelings. You wouldn’t want people to think you’re a bigot, would you?

When in Rome, do as the Muslims do.

P.S. Er, unless you’re a woman who was born a man. I think? Or does “Muslim” supersede “LGBT” again?
