Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich says Bill Clinton is “such a target-rich environment” when it comes to inappropriate relationships with women, that “why would you even look” at Donald Trump.

Appearing on Fox News’s “On the Record With Greta Van Susteren” on Wednesday, Gingrich was asked about Trump referring to Bill Clinton’s rape allegations, complaining that the New York Times investigated him, but did not investigate Clinton thoroughly. Gingrich argued, “There have been all sorts of allegations. There have been people come out of the woodwork. I always thought it was bizarre that The New York Times decides they are going to take on Donald Trump and his relationship with women and then do such a bad job that the centerpiece of their story goes on TV to say that The New York Times whole story was a lie, exactly the opposite of what she said.” (RELATED: Trump Ex-Girlfriend: New York Times ‘Spun’ My Words, Donald Was ‘A Gentleman’ [VIDEO])

“Meanwhile, have you, for example, Clinton took a whole series of trips with a convicted pedophile, including five trips where he left behind the Secret Service,” Gingrich argued. “Bill is such a target-rich environment, why would you even look at Trump?” (RELATED: Bill Clinton Took Twice As Many Flights On ‘Pedophile Island’ Billionaire’s ‘Lolita Express’ Than Previously Reported)

Back in January, The Daily Caller’s Kerry Picket confronted Clinton about the reemergence of Juanita Broaddrick who in 1999, Broddrick accused Clinton of raping her in the 1970s. (RELATED: Bill Clinton Avoids Reporter’s Question About Reemergence Of Juanita Broaddrick [VIDEO])

Some of the women who accuse Clinton of sexual misconduct include Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, Eileen Wellstone, Carolyn Moffet, Elizabeth Ward Gracen, Becky Brown, Helen Dowdy, and Cristy Zercher.

In the Starr Report, Monica Lewinsky testified that Bill Clinton told her that “he had hundreds of affairs” before he turned 40.
