Donald Trump responded to Barack Obama’s claim that world leaders are “rattled” by him, arguing that it was “good thing… not a bad thing.”

During a press conference from Bismarck, North Dakota on Thursday, Trump said, “That’s good. I love that word [rattle]. He used a bad word because he knows nothing about business.” (RELATED: WATCH All Of Trumps Rally In Bismarck)

“When you rattle someone, that’s good. Many of the countries in our world… have been absolutely abusing us and taking advantage of us. So if they’re rattled in a friendly way, (I’ll have great relationships with these countries) but if they’re rattled in a friendly way, that’s a good thing… not a bad thing,” Trump insisted.

While in Japan, Obama said that world leaders are “rattled by [Trump] and for good reason. Because a lot of the proposals that he’s made display either ignorance of world affairs or a cavalier attitude or an interest in getting tweets and headlines instead of actually thinking through what is required to keep America safe.”

Trump responded, “Well look, he’s a president who’s done a horrible job, everybody understands that. He’s a president who’s allowed many of these countries to totally take advantage of him and us unfortunately.”

“And he’s got to say something. And it’s unusual that every time he has a press conference, he’s talking about me. So you know, it’s just one of those things,” Trump argued. “I will say this, [Obama] is a man who shouldn’t be really, you know, airing his difficulties and he shouldn’t be airing what he’s airing where he is right now.”

“And I think that you’re going to see it stop pretty soon. [Obama] has not done a good job.”
