Two male shooters terrorized a Houston neighborhood Sunday with AR-15s. The pair set a gas station on fire, shot at a police helicopter and fired randomly, leaving two dead and six injured.

The shooting broke out Sunday morning. Authorities say one of the gunmen was killed by the other shooter, while the remaining gunman was wounded by police, Fox News reports. One bystander was fatally shot in the head while in a vehicle. The shooters wounded five more, including two law enforcement officers.

“One deputy was wounded in his tactical vest and the other was shot in the hand,” the Houston Police Department said on Facebook. “Both are expected to be okay.”

One of the bullets hit a nearby gas station, starting a fire. Once a police helicopter arrived at the scene, the shooters turned their weapons upward.

“Chief Montalvo also stated active shooter fired shots from a high powered weapon and caused multiple bullet strikes to one of our HPD helicopters,” Houston police said on Facebook. “None of the officers on the chopper was injured.”

A motive for the shooting is unclear. Authorities said the shooters appeared to be randomly firing at anything and everything.
