World War II veteran Burke Waldron threw some serious heat with his opening pitch on Memorial Day for the Seattle Mariners.

The 92-year-old Navy veteran sprinted out on the field with the speed of a man half his age, took the mound to lots of cheers, juiced up the crowd and then ripped the ball to home plate. (SLIDESHOW: These Historic Photos Are A Stunning Reminder Of World War II For Memorial Day)
