Last June, Vanity Fair published the first photos of Jenner — “formerly known as Bruce.” The 66-year-old reality star celebrated his anniversary with two posts on social media Wednesday. (RELATED: Caitlyn Jenner’s Friends Won’t Tolerate Him Endorsing A Republican)

“Can’t believe it’s been one year since the @vanityfair cover,” Jenner captioned the photo. “So happy, best year of my life.”

During an interview with the magazine, Jenner said his transition wasn’t about the “fanfare.”

“It’s not about people cheering in the stadium,” Jenner said. “It’s not about going down the street and everybody giving you, ‘That a boy, Bruce’ pat on the back, okay? This is about your life.” (RELATED: Here’s Your First Look At Bruce Jenner As ‘Caitlyn’)
