The 52-year-old actor was spotted drinking and partying after his band’s concert in Denmark, the Daily Mail reported, and Depp argued with his bodyguard who wanted him to go inside. (RELATED: Do These Text Messages Prove That Johnny Depp Beat Amber Heard?)
“Johnny was in a party mood that’s for sure,” an observer told the Daily Mail. “His bodyguard had his hand on his shoulder and was trying to get him to go back inside, but Johnny refused to go. And the bodyguard got more and more persistent but Johnny didn’t want to go.”
“He was in a mood to celebrate for sure.”
Earlier that day, People magazine released photos of bruises on Depp’s wife’s face. She said they were taken after Depp hit her last December.
