A group of Baylor fans took out a full-page ad in the Sunday issue of the Austin American-Statesman newspaper thanking former school president Ken Starr.
Starr and former football coach Art Briles were removed after they allegedly mishandled rape and sexual assault accusations against football players. However, that didn’t stop some Baylor fans from thanking Starr for his “integrity” and “exceptional care for students and their well-being,” according to CBS Sports. Baylor became embroiled in a massive scandal when it became clear that somebody in the school was allowing coverups for the accusations against football players. Starr recently appeared extremely flustered during an interview when he was asked directly if he had seen an email from a woman telling him she had been raped by a football player. Starr still works for the Baylor law school despite no longer being president, according to CBS Sports.
