Donald Trump responded to Hillary Clinton’s call for him to “delete” his Twitter account Thursday, but was his response original to him or was it sourced from users on pro-Trump forum on Reddit?

Clinton called on Trump to “delete” his Twitter account after the presumptive Republican nominee tweeted, “Obama just endorsed Crooked Hillary. He wants four more years of Obama—but nobody else does!”

Reddit user moonsprite mocked up a fake Trump tweet with the title “Praying Trump responds to Hillary’s tweet like this” and posted it on the pro-Trump subreddit The_Donald. (RELATED: Clinton Tells Trump To ‘Delete’ His Twitter Account, Reminds Everyone About Her ‘Wiped’ Email Server)

The message moonsprite crafted said, “Unlike you, I don’t carelessly delete digital information. 30,000 deleted emails and under FBI investigation. Be careful!”

A short while later, Trump tweeted, “How long did it take your staff of 823 people to think that up–and where are your 33,000 emails that you deleted?”

In a statement to The Daily Caller, Reddit user moonsprite said, “There’s no doubt in my mind Trump’s social media manager and other staff members browse this subreddit. I don’t think it’s the first time this has happened, a lot of people called Hillary ‘Crooked Hillary’ and [Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth] Warren ‘Pocahontas’ around here before Trump started referring to them like that. We’re his target audience, at the end of the day.”

Trump’s spokeswoman Hope Hicks told TheDC that the campaign does not have a relationship with The_Donald.

The_Donald boasts over 140,000 “centipedes” or subscribers to the subreddit.
