German nationalist politician Steffen Königer greeted 60 genders in an attempt to make fun of the Green party’s proposal to make it easier for people to self-identify with the gender of their choice.
The debate in Brandenburg’s state parliament discussed two proposed bills regarding gender types in society. Königer, who represents Germany’s nationalist party Alternative fur Deutschland, wanted to illustrate what such bills could lead to if implemented.
Instead of the traditional greeting to the speaker and fellow members of parliament, Königer decided to go above and beyond and be inclusive of 60 possible genders.
Königer gets interrupted by the speaker in the middle of the greeting, but goes on to include hermaphrodites, two-spirit third genders and fourth genders, among many more.

Königer said he used Facebook’s database for available gender types to come up with list.
“I could have read hundred or more, but then it would have become boring,” Königer told newspaper Junge Freiheit.
