The wife of Orlando attacker Omar Mateen, Noor Salman, drove him to Pulse nightclub at least once before the attack, was with him when he purchased a holster and ammunition and attempted to talk him out of the shooting, NBC reported Tuesday.
The NBC report states that Salman is currently cooperating with law enforcement officials. Sources told NBC that she had “some idea” of the attack before if occurred early Sunday morning. It’s now possible that she will face charges.
While the report does not state when Salman drove him to the nightclub, it does say that Mateen expressed interest in the club to his wife.
In his speech on Monday responding to the Orlando attack, Trump said that “the Muslims have to work with us. They have to work with us. They know what’s going on. They know that he was bad.”
Liberal commentators did not find this statement by Trump compelling.
Trump also talks about Muslims like there are 400 in the entire country and they all know each other.
