Late last month, Heard was granted a temporary restraining order against Depp following accusations of domestic abuse during their 15-month marriage. The restraining order will remain in effect until Friday.

Heard has withdrawn her request for temporary spousal support from Depp. According to TMZ, Heard’s lawyer withdrew the request because it was being “used against her to distract and divert the public away from the very serious, real issues of domestic violence.”

Heard released pictures of herself with a bruised face following her filing for divorce last month, claiming that Depp had struck her during an argument. The actor’s lawyers shot this down, and Laura Wasser accused Heard of trying “to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse.”

Heard argues that she only requested spousal support “because she thought it was standard operating procedure in a divorce case,” but that doesn’t mean she’s going to drop the issue all together, with the outlet reporting that “she reserves the right to go after spousal support in their divorce…AFTER the restraining order is handled.”

Depp is currently in the Bahamas.

“Johnny is doing O.K.,” a source told People. “He likes retreating to his private island whenever he can. He hasn’t been there for a while, and really seems happy being there now…He wants to see his kids, but otherwise he isn’t looking to returning to [L.A.]. He doesn’t seem too worried about court, though. He has an excellent lawyer who is taking care of things.”
