In her endorsement of Clinton, Winfrey said, “I’m with her. Regardless of your politics, it’s a seminal moment for women. What this says is, there is no ceiling, that ceiling just went boom! It says anything is possible when you can be leader of the free world.” (RELATED: Oprah Winfrey Endorses Hillary Clinton For President)

Friday, co-host Joy Behar said, “Is Oprah just flat-out saying, ‘You know, vote for [Hillary] because she’s a woman?'”

“I think that this does a disservice to every single woman in the United States,” Faris replied. “Every woman in this country, every woman across the globe. You don’t vote for someone based upon their gender. Gender doesn’t qualify you to be president and I think it does a disservice to Hillary Clinton. Hillary, I mean what, is the best thing you can say about Hillary [is] that she’s a female?”
