Homeless men and kids got to watch porn for free in New York City’s Times Square thanks to new Wi-Fi kiosks.

On Sunday, the New York Post reported that under Mayor Bill de Blasio administration both homeless men and school kids were being able to catch the XXX entertainment thanks to free high-speed internet access through tablets built into former telephone booths. “I used to come here in the 70s, and I remember thinking Times Square was as skeezy as you could get, but I was wrong,” said one former New Yorker Richard Herzberg. “This is as skeezy as Times Square could get. I mean, in the old days there was plenty of porn, but you could only see it behind closed doors. So at least there was that level of modesty.”

After authorities became aware of the all-day porn surfing hangouts, they sought the help of a company that helps monitor the sites kids use in public schools and libraries. They added an additional filter for specific types of image searches and the ability to block access to certain sites. The large groups of people hanging out at the kiosks as such ended as well.
