Sinead O’Connor is in the news again after authorities issued a “suicide threat” for the singer, but she says she is happy and it’s a lie.

On Thursday, the 49-year-old singer was reported missing by Irish authorities after family members said she was suicidal and wanted to throw herself off a bridge, according to Fox News.

Sinead O'Connor may have one hauntingly beautiful voice, but boy does she have some mental problems. O'Connor has been diagnosed as bipolar and has tried to kill herself at least once. But she's still alive and writing letters to Miley Cyrus telling her to stop acting like a "prostitute." (Photo credit should read FRED TANNEAU/AFP/Getty Images)

Chicago police said they were notified to be on the look out for the singer. However, on Friday she turned up safe and posted on her Facebook account that it was all a lie.  (RELATED: Sinead O’Connor Is Missing, Feared Suicidal)

“Oh and by the way it’s bullshit I jumped off a bridge, some stupid bitch up at Swords Garda station decided she’d like to throw a bit of false and malicious gossip about is all,” O’Connor wrote. “Am far too fucking happy for that!”

Last month the singer went missing after she left for a bike ride. Police believed she was a danger to herself, but was later located safe at a hotel.
