Republicans, clearly inspired by their fans’ hysterical signs, defeated the Democrats at Thursday’s annual congressional baseball game for the first time since 2008.

There were a lot of funny signs to choose from, but The Daily Caller News Foundation narrowed them down to the top seven.

One GOP fan was more than willing to lose the game if it meant getting a political advantage in the upcoming 2016 elections.

Naturally, the GOP fans were happiest to see the final score, where they defeated the Democrats eight to seven.
