Candice Russell, a woman CNN brought on to discuss the Texas abortion law that was struck down by the Supreme Court, insisted that the “most traumatic” part of getting her abortion was that law, not the fact she ended a human life.

In an interview on Monday’s “CNN Newsroom” Russell told guest host Pamela Brown, “I have had more invasive surgeries done at my dentist’s office than my abortion.”

“My abortion was very simple, it was very easy. The most traumatic part of my experience was the stress of having to come up with the money to go out of state,” Russell said. “The stress of travel, of having get on a plane after having a very basic surgical procedure. And all of those things, all of those stressors that I went through with my abortion came from H.B. 2. It wasn’t the abortion itself, it was from the law.” (RELATED: SCOTUS Axes Texas Abortion Law)

Earlier in the interview, Russell claimed that she took out a payday loan in order to fly to California to get an abortion. She claimed the abortion cost her $2,500 because she had to pay for a plane ticket and pay for the interest on her payday loan.
