People loved Janelle Monáe’s tribute to Prince during the BET Awards Sunday night.

The 30-year-old singer, whose real name is Janelle Monáe Robinson, sang a compilation of the late legendary singers songs, including “Kiss,” “Delirious,” and “I Would Die For You.” (RELATED: Prince Died From Opioid Overdose, Law Enforcement Reveals)

The young performer took the stage in an outfit reminiscent of what Prince wore when he performed 25 years ago on stage at the MTV Video awards show — assless chaps.

The night was full of tributes to the iconic singer, including ones from Stevie Wonder and Tori Kelly and Jennifer Hudson.
