A passenger jet carrying 241 souls caught fire on the runway following a mid-flight emergency Monday.

Singapore Airlines Flight SQ368 took off from Singapore early Monday, destined for Milan, Italy. Just two hours into the scheduled flight, an engine oil warning message forced the pilots to turn around for an emergency landing.

After touching down back in Singapore, the plane’s right engine ignited into flames, engulfing the entire wing while all of the passengers remained on board. Airport emergency services were able to put out the fire, with no injuries to the 222 passengers and 19 crew members on board.

The plane was a Boeing 777-300ER, which according to the CAPA Centre for Aviation, is one of the most popular models for long haul flights, with 619 planes being operated by 35 airline carriers throughout the globe.

Singapore Airlines said it had offered passengers the option to defer or reschedule their travel. They also stated that they will be cooperating with authorities in their investigations.
