Donald Trump’s campaign throughout the Republican primary was a barebones operation but it has been ramped up with several new hires this week, including two experienced political operatives.

Trump announced the hire of Jason Miller, a former adviser to Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, on Monday. Miller will join the campaign as its communications director, overseeing the campaign’s interactions with the press.

The press operations for Trump’s campaign so far have been run primarily by Hope Hicks. Hicks did a job herself that dozens of people would be doing at the Hillary Clinton campaign. Prior to joining Trump’s campaign, Hicks worked PR for his daughter Ivanka.

Trump also hired former Republican National Committee staffer Michael Abboud Tuesday as a communications coordinator.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee’s new hires haven’t only been on the communications side. Late Tuesday, the Trump campaign announced the hire of Vincent Harris, the former chief digital strategist for Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul’s presidential bid.

Trump not only brought Harris onto his campaign but also the services of his firm, Harris Media. Harris Media has previously worked for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

A Bloomberg article in 2014 about Harris was called, “The Man Who Invented The Republican Internet.”

Prior to Harris’ hire, Trump’s campaign did not have much of a digital operation. His director of social media, Dan Scavino, is also his former caddy.

Trump also hired Alan Cobb to serve as the campaign’s director of coalitions. Cobb previously served as a senior adviser to Trump.
