An 18-year-old Oregon man was arrested Sunday for operating a vehicle while high on marijuana after he smashed his car into a pot dispensary in Happy Valley, The Oregonian reports.
Alan Alcantara crashed into a parked car by Stumptown Cannabis and then smashed into the wall of the store, an affidavit said, causing $1,000 in damages to the other car and the building.
No one was in the other vehicle, but another passenger was in Alcantara’s car and needed to go to the hospital to be treated for a concussion.
According to The Oregonian, Alcantara was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, reckless endangering, criminal mischief and fourth-degree assault.
