For today’s obligatory Donald Trump news, I’ve selected a juicy piece from BuzzFeed covering a scoop from sources who say The Donald listened to his employee’s phone calls on the landlines at his Mar-a-Lago resort. It seems like all the reports are coming from former employees, who would know what they’re talking about. But it’s possible that this was entirely legal as the phones were property of the business and not private cell phones belonging to the workers. #TrumpIsListening
The Daily HuffPo Outrage is here, asking why we “prayed for Paris — but what about Istanbul” after the suicide bombing attacks at the Istanbul airport that left over 40 people dead. This is the same type of story that popped up immediately after the Paris terrorist attacks that happened concurrently with bombings in Lebanon. We heard a lot from HuffPo about how we’re all racists for putting French flags on our Facebook pictures but ignoring terrorism elsewhere.
