Kevin Sorbo said Jesus would vote for Donald Trump because he is the “lesser of two evils.”

On Wednesday, the 57-year-old actor — best known for his role in the TV show “Hercules” — was asked by TMZ  who Jesus would vote for. (RELATED: Roseanne Barr: ‘I Did Not Endorse Donald Trump’)

“Well, I would have to say Trump,” Sorbo said. “The lesser of two evils.”

The actor then attacked Hillary Clinton and said she has more scandals than Richard Nixon.

“Every time I ask a Democrat what Hillary has done they never have a really good answer,” he said. “They have zero answers. She has more scandals around her than Nixon ever had. Watergate is a joke compared to what’s going on in the White House today.”

Sorbo then addressed the presumptive Republican nominee’s immigration stance when the reporter said that under his plan, Jesus wouldn’t be allowed into the country.

“I don’t think that’s true,” he said. “Why wouldn’t he? Look I am Norwegian, that’s my heritage. If there’s Norwegians going around strapping bombs and blowing people up, you can check me.”

“I don’t mind if you racial profile against me,” he added. “I don’t. I have nothing to hide.”

“So why do people, if they have nothing to hide, why do they get upset about stuff? If they have nothing to hide. So they take one day out of your life to check you out, what’s wrong with that. Finger print me, check out my background, what’s the big deal.”

“He [Trump] is saying let’s check everybody out, I think let’s check everybody is a fair thing to do.”
