After the 57-year-old singer was found dead in an elevator in his home in April, the FBI, the DEA and the Carver County District Attorney’s Office are now “taking a hard look” at Dr. Michael Schulenberg and Dr. Howard Kornfeld to determine if either illegally prescribed him medication, TMZ reports. Dr. Schulenberg was at the singer’s home when he died, but he said it was only so he could inform him of some test results.

As reported, Prince was photographed entering a Walgreens to get a prescription hours before he died.

In June, a law enforcement official confirmed rumors that Prince died from an opioid overdose. (RELATED: Prince Died From Opioid Overdose, Law Enforcement Reveals)
