DOJ Source: Lynch Not Sorry She Met With Clinton [VIDEO]

Bloomberg’s Mark Halperin reported on Friday that a senior official at the Department of Justice told him that Attorney General Loretta Lynch is not sorry that she met with former president Bill Clinton.

Appearing on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Friday, Halperin said he talked to a “senior Justice Department official” who said that it was “the Attorney General’s intention all along to let the career people decide. Quote, ‘She is not recusing herself. She is not stepping aside and does not expect that the attorney general today will say it was a mistake to meet with Bill Clinton for 20 or 30 minutes privately.’” (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Was Bill Clinton Plea Bargaining With The Attorney General?)
