Bloomberg’s Mark Halperin reported on Friday that a senior official at the Department of Justice told him that Attorney General Loretta Lynch is not sorry that she met with former president Bill Clinton.
Appearing on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Friday, Halperin said he talked to a “senior Justice Department official” who said that it was “the Attorney General’s intention all along to let the career people decide. Quote, ‘She is not recusing herself. In an interview with the “O’Reilly Factor” on Thursday, Christopher Sign, the reporter who broke the news that Clinton and Lynch met said, “the FBI there on the tarmac instructing everybody around, ‘no photos, no pictures, no cell phones.'” (RELATED: Reporter: FBI Ordered ‘No Photos’ Outside Clinton, Lynch Meeting [VIDEO])
