This week’s married, fortysomething female middle school teacher busted for allegedly sending nude photos and videos of herself to at least four males under the age of 16 is Tonie Reiboldt.

Reiboldt, 43, is a physical education and math teacher at Horse Heaven Hills Middle School in Kennewick, Washington, reports local ABC affiliate KVEW-TV.

Kennewick police say Reiboldt used the social media app Snapchat to transmit the self-made porn to the quartet of youngsters. She’d been sending her special homemade smut for up to a year, court documents assert.

The investigation into the gym teacher’s social media activities began on June 15 after rumors began to fly about the existence of the photos and videos.

One of the video recipients had once been a student in Reiboldt’s middle school classes, police say.

The sexting recipients’ ages are unknown.

Court documents suggest that at least one of the recipients responded to Reiboldt by sending her a raunchy image of himself.

Investigators allege that Reiboldt accessed her own son’s Snapchat account to obtain the Snapchat account information of someone he knows. That person is one of the alleged recipients of the bawdy imagery, according to the Tri-City Herald, the main local newspaper.

Police say they have no evidence that Reiboldt engaged in any sexual activities with any of the recipients of her alleged lewd social media missives. Investigators allege that Reiboldt asked for a rendezvous with one of the smut recipients, however, and even went to a local park in anticipation of the event, but he bailed at the last minute.

The Kennewick school district released a statement assuring local parents that administrators take the charges against Reiboldt seriously.

“The Kennewick School District has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to inappropriate employee behaviors, especially those involving students,” the statement explains, according to area NBC affiliate KNDO.

“Our district is fully cooperating with the Kennewick Police Department in the active investigation,” the statement continues. “The safety of our students is paramount. We take this situation seriously, and our administration is working diligently to take the strongest possible action to ensure our schools are safe places for students.”

The school district has placed Reiboldt on paid administrative leave.

Reiboldt has been a gym teacher and math teacher at Horse Heaven Hills Middle School since 2003.

She was arrested on June 29 and charged with three felony counts of the communication with a minor for immoral purposes.

The maximum prison sentence for the trio of charges is five years.

She was released after posting $15,000 bail.

A condition of her release is that she can have no contact with any children except her own. Additionally, another adult must be present when she is in the vicinity of her own two sons, who are both minors.

Reiboldt’s husband is a special education teacher and girls’ high school golf coach, the Tri-City Herald notes, and so he will be home most of the time during the summer to look after the two boys.
