FBI Director James Comey said on Thursday that it’s “possible” that Hillary Clinton deleted emails related to the Clinton Foundation and Benghazi.
Rep. Glenn Grothman asked Comey, “Based upon the e-mails that you recovered, presumably, her lawyers or somebody was going well beyond personal e-mails, is it possible we’ll never be able to recover e-mails that dealt with the Clinton Foundation or dealt with the Benghazi scandal. Is it possible, because of what her lawyers did, that they were erasing things that were incriminating? According to an email that had been recovered, Clinton told her daughter Chelsea in an email that the Benghazi attack was committed an “Al Qaeda-like group.” But publicly, Clinton blamed a YouTube video.
