FBI Director James Comey said on Thursday that it’s “possible” that Hillary Clinton deleted emails related to the Clinton Foundation and Benghazi.

Rep. Glenn Grothman asked Comey, “Based upon the e-mails that you recovered, presumably, her lawyers or somebody was going well beyond personal e-mails, is it possible we’ll never be able to recover e-mails that dealt with the Clinton Foundation or dealt with the Benghazi scandal. Is it possible, because of what her lawyers did, that they were erasing things that were incriminating? Maybe involving items that you yourself were not particularly investigating, but that these have now been destroyed forever?” (RELATED: FBI Recommends ‘NO CHARGES’ For Hillary Clinton [VIDEO])

“I guess it’s possible, as I said in my statement Tuesday, we did not find evidence to indicate that they did the eraser to conceal things of any sort but it’s possible as I said on Tuesday that there are work related emails that were in the batch that were deleted.” (RELATED: Comey Confirms Hillary Clinton Lied To The Public About Her Emails [VIDEO])

“I’m sorry, when you go to this length to make sure you can never recover the e-mails that are erased, wouldn’t you think the intent is to make sure nobody can ever look at them again?” (RELATED: Congress To Ask FBI To Investigate Hillary For Lying Under Oath [VIDEO])

Comey replied, “I guess it’s a bit circular. You delete because you want to delete. What I mean is, we didn’t find any evidence of evil intent and intent to obstruct justice.” (RELATED: Emails Show Big-Time Clinton Donor Directly Asked To Be Placed On State Dept. Arms Control Panel)

According to an email that had been recovered, Clinton told her daughter Chelsea in an email that the Benghazi attack was committed an “Al Qaeda-like group.” But publicly, Clinton blamed a YouTube video.
