Anna Kendrick stars as Eloise, a dumped maid-of-honor, in the new comedy “Table 19.” Check out the first trailer for the upcoming Fox Searchlight movie below.
Kendrick is joined by Lisa Kudrow, Stephen Merchant, Craig Robinson and June Squibb. “Table 19” will follow Eloise, who shows up at her ex-boyfriend’s sister’s wedding despite being broken up with over text message.
At the reception, her character realizes she’s been seated at the misfit outcast table and the group joins together to make their own party.
“Table 19” marks the third time Kendrick will be working with British boyfriend Ben Richardson, who serves as the movie’s cinematographer. The pair first met on the set of 2013’s “Drinking Buddies” and again when filming 2014’s “Happy Christmas.” They’ve now been dating for two years.
Kendrick is on a hot streak lately with last year’s “Pitch Perfect 2” emerging as a surprise box office hit ($287.5 million worldwide). The 30-year-old actress can be seen in “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates,” opening this weekend, and alongside Ben Affleck in “The Accountant,” which hits theaters on Sept. 23.
