The number one women’s tennis player in the world, Serena Williams, lost almost $400,000 in prize money Saturday at Wimbledon due to the British pound’s precipitous fall after Brexit.

Williams won her 22nd Grand Slam title Saturday in straight sets, 7-5 and 6-3 respectively. The American tennis star won 2 million British pounds in prize money, which amounts to $2.592 million. Market Watch calculated that had Williams received her prize money right before the British people voted to leave the European Union June 23, that money would be worth $2.9742 million.

British voters decided in a nationwide referendum to leave the economic and political bloc, causing market calamity in its wake. The pound is at a 31-year low as the the U.K. renegotiates its trade relationship with EU countries.

Williams went on to lose another $33,000 in prize money after picking up the women’s doubles title with her sister Venus Williams.

Despite losing out on some cash while playing at Wimbledon, Williams is by no means aching for money. Forbes calculated that Williams’ net worth is $150 million. The tennis phenom first became the world’s number one women’s tennis player in 2002.
