The Hillary Clinton campaign has jumped on the popularity of Pokemon Go with the candidate making a joke involving the game Thursday, while the Ohio game is using the app to find voters.
Clinton attempted a joke involving the game, saying, “I don’t know who created Pokemon Go. But I’m trying to figure out how we get to them Pokemon Go-to the polls.”

Her campaign as well is using the game to register voters in Ohio. A campaign event description in Ohio says, “join us as we go to the Pokestop in Madison Park and put up a lure module, get free pokemon, & battle each other while you register voters and learn more about Sec. Hillary Clinton!!! Kids welcome!”
