Former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders was booed heavily Monday when he said, “We have got to elect Hillary Clinton” president.
Sanders was speaking at a rally in Philadelphia before the start of the Democratic National Convention when the boisterous crowd interrupted his speech with boos after he stated his support for Clinton and Tim Kaine.
Sanders went on to say, “Brothers and sisters, this is, this is the real world that we live in.” (RELATED: Wasserman Schultz Shouted Down At Florida Rally Over DNC Email Scandal)
Later in his speech, the crowd erupted in “We want Bernie” chants.
Earlier in the day while speaking to the Florida delegation, former chair of the Democratic National Committee was booed as well.
