The leader of a massive pro-abortion organization boasted Wednesday about ending the life of her unborn child at the Democratic National Convention, and described how much she loves the two children she has now.

“To succeed in life, all we need are the tools, the trust, and the chance to chart our own path,” NARAL Pro-Choice America President Ilyse Hogue told the crowd, referring to the ability to abort an unborn baby. “I was fortunate enough to have those these things when I found out I was pregnant years ago.”

“I wanted a family, but it was the wrong time,” she continued. “I made the decision that was best for me — to have an abortion — and was able to get compassionate care at a clinic in my own community.”

Although she aborted her first child, Hogue later opted to allow two other children to live.

“Now, years later, my husband and I are parents to two incredible children,” she said.

Another leading pro-abortion activist, Planned Parenthood Action Fund President Cecile Richards, was given a prime time spot to voice her views at the DNC Tuesday. Like Hogue, Richards applauded Hillary Clinton’s extreme stance on abortion, and she decried Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s pro-life position.

“[Trump’s] policies aren’t just frightening, they’re rooted in a disturbing worldview,” the woman who oversees an organization recently exposed for harvesting the parts of aborted fetuses said to applause.
