Miranda Lambert broke down in tears while singing the song she wrote with her ex-husband, Blake Shelton.

Over the weekend, the 32-year-old country singer could not hold in her emotions while singing “Over You,” at a concert at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre at Tinley Park, a suburb of Chicago, according to Entertainment Tonight.

While singing the lyrics to the song she wrote with Shelton in 2012, concert goers said that Lambert choked up several times, became teary eyed, and practically made them cry too. (RELATED: Miranda Lambert Talks About ‘Heartache And Healing’ After Her Divorce)

Lambert reportedly relied on the crowd who sang along and filled in the gaps she missed while being overcome with emotions.

That was not the only time the singer got choked up. She also reportedly became emotional and the water works started to flow while singing another one of her biggest hits “The House That Built Me.” In order to get through it the crowd cheered her on all the way through.

Lambert and Shelton shocked the country music world when they announced they were separating after four years of marriage. Shelton is now dating rocker Gwen Stefani. Lambert is seeing Anderson East.
