An American Airlines pilot used skills learned from Pee Wee football to stop an unruly passenger from aggravating a flight attendant on a recent flight.

Video of the incident — which occurred on July 21 — shows a flight attendant trying to get 25-year-old Michael Kerr of Kentucky to sit down while the plane taxied to the gate following landing at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (NC).

WATCH:

Kerr had allegedly been served three whiskeys before the confrontation, which was quickly ended by the pilot.

“You don’t put hands on my flight attendant,” he can be heard shouting while taking Kerr to the ground.

The Lexington Herald-Leader reports Kerr has been charged being intoxicated and disruptive, assault, communicating threats and interfering with a flight crew or attendant.

He has also been banned from flying with American Airlines and fired from his job.
