The upcoming movie “Billionaire Ransom” looks absolutely horrible, but much like a car crash I just can’t look away.

The plot of the film is pretty simple. A bunch of rich kids get sent to a boarding school because they can’t stay out of trouble and then some geniuses get the idea to kidnap them for ransom money. It’s as simple as it gets. (RELATED: Watch The Trailer For Tom Hanks’ Latest Film ‘Inferno’ [VIDEO])

So many great things about the trailer. First, the acting is so bad it’s borderline parody. However, that’s not even close to where the good stuff begins.

The lead character Kyle Hartmann is supposed to be an out of control high school student, but elite paramilitary forces arrive to kidnap him and he magically turns into Katniss from “The Hunger Games.”

Not buying it would be an understatement. Next, love the casting decision to have the lead actor from the show “Gossip Girl” become the elite bad guy.

Nothing tells the audience that the villain is a badass like casting the dude from a show on the CW. Give that casting director a raise.

Finally, let’s get to the most ridiculous part of this amazing trailer.

There’s a group of elite killers tracking these two and instead of trying to run, hide or fight they instead decide to take a quick break for a make out session. Apparently situational awareness is checked at the door of this boarding school.

The film comes out on August 19 and I can promise you I’ll be front row. Will they escape? Will the ransom get paid? Will their decision to make out instead of run have consequences? So many great questions that I absolutely need answered.
