A new report from the New York Times found that some Republican primary donors are padding Hillary Clinton’s purse now that Donald Trump is officially nominated and their choice for president has dropped out.

Donors who gave money to former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham during the primary season are donating to Clinton instead of Trump.

This is unusual, says the Times, as donors usually donate pretty heavily to the party’s nominee once their choice drops out and Trump has received money from the smallest number of party donors than any candidate since 1980.

But, Trump is making some monetary gains from his failed opponent’s supporters, including an influx of contributions from Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, surgeon Ben Carson and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio donors.

According to the report, Clinton has netted $2.2 million from these donors, but that’s only $600,000 more than Trump.

Clinton’s individual donations for this election cycle total at $231,155,887, while Trump’s total at $36,959,858 as of June 30, according to Federal Election Commission filing reports.

Clinton is leading Trump 47.6 to 40.1 nationally, according to Real Clear Politics’ polling average.
