Joe Biden, in an effort to convince supporters that his running mate Barack Obama was not going to take their guns, told attendees at a September 2008 campaign stop that Obama had better not take his Beretta or there would be “a problem.”

“I guarantee ya’ Barack Obama ain’t takin’ my shotgun, so don’t buy that malarkey. Don’t buy that malarkey. They’re gonna start peddling that to you. I’ve got two. If he tries to fool with my Beretta he’s got a problem. I like that little over and under. I’m not bad with it,” Biden said. “So give me a break. Give me a break.”

The Clinton campaign is accusing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump of threatening Clinton, when he said Tuesday, “Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks.

“But the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.”

The Trump campaign says he was referring to gun owners’ voting power to keep Clinton out of the White House.
