Brad Pitt is falling back into familiar territory with his new highly anticipated film “Allied.” You can check out the full trailer below.

Back in 2005, Pitt starred alongside Angelina Jolie as a secret hitman pretending to be an Average Joe in order to keep his marriage alive and well. This time around the stakes are much, much higher…and a bit familiar.

Pitt will play the lead role in director Robert Zemeckis’s upcoming World War II drama “Allied.” The film will center around American intelligence officer Max Vatan who meets, falls in love with, and marries French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Marion Cotillard). However, this being World War II and all, things do not go smoothly and soon the harsh realities of war begin to threaten their relationship and their lives.

Zemeckis has been nominated for two Academy Awards, winning one. This will be his first directorial effort since 2015’s “The Walk.” Pitt, meanwhile, could be seen twice last year in “The Big Short” and “By the Sea,” which was directed by Jolie.

“Allied” is scheduled to arrive in theaters on Nov. 23.
