The Tampa chapter of the New Black Panther Party “has made an official decision” to kick out one of its members after he gave a recent television interview in which he stated his opinion of police had changed.

In his interview with WTVT (FL), Clarence Jones — also known as Ali Abdul Muhammad — “knowingly and willfully misrepresented himself as a ‘leader’ of our organization,” despite being removed “from leadership approximately two months ago by collective decision,” TNBPP told the Daily Caller in a statement. Jones “presented an unauthorized  false representation to the public of our programmatic efforts and attempted to promote himself in the public by making a publicity stunt of a robbery.”

“His false representation and collaboration was nothing more than a smear campaign of our non-compromising stances,” the statement continued. “We are not with Mr. Jones in his effort to fill up the already over crowded jails and prisons.”

“His belligerent and unstable behavior is not indicative of what a leader or even a brand new member of the New Black Panther Party in Tampa should be.”

The TNBPP has stated that Jones is ordered to remove himself from associating with the group — including the return of all party-branded clothing and materials — for one year, effective immediately.

If he does not comply, he will be banned from the party forever.

To whom it may concern,

The Tampa chapter of the New Black Panther Party, has made an official  decision  to remove Mr. Clarence Jones, also known as Ali Abdul Muhammad, as a member of the Tampa branch of the New Black Panther Party.

In a recent media report Mr. Jones knowingly and willfully misrepresented himself as a ” leader” of our organization, knowing he was removed from leadership  approximately two months ago by  collective decision.

Mr. Jones presented an unauthorized  false representation to the public of our programmatic efforts and attempted to promote himself in the public by making a publicity stunt of a robbery. His false representation and collaboration was nothing more than a smear campaign of our non-compromising stances. We are not with Mr. Jones in his  effort to fill up the already over crowded jails and prisons.

For the term of a year, Mr. Jones is suspended from our ranks and is not to be used in any capacity by media or otherwise in representation of the Tampa New Black Panther Party, or the organization of the New Black Panther Party in general.  Effective immediately,  Mr. Jones is ordered to cease-and-desist false representation of the New Black Panther Party, and  is to turn in all property associated with the New Black Panther Party.

If Mr. Jones does  not  abide by or  comply with the decision of this Chapter, his membership will be permanently revoked and he will be  banned for life.

Mr. Jones has brought this upon himself and all of this could’ve been avoided, if and only if, he was willing to conduct himself with a level of integrity and respectability.

Mr. Jones’ choice of making irrational statements on social media juxtaposed with his misrepresentation of the organization-by acknowledging himself as “chairman”, knowing full-well that he was not in any moral or organizational position to do so.

His belligerent and unstable behavior is not indicative of what a leader or even a brand new member of the New Black Panther Party in Tampa should be.

We have taken corrective actions so our name, mission, and purpose is clear to the general public and black people in particular.

For those of you who have been observing and questioning the statements and actions of Mr. Jones, for official record, the actions displayed by Mr. Jones are not by any means a pure representation of the Tampa Chapter of  New Black Panther Party, or what we believe in as an organization.

The Tampa Chapter of the New Black Panther Party is dedicated to being on  the forefront as servants, liberators, and warriors  for the  black cause in America and in general worldwide. As stated in our 10 point program, ” We want freedom. We want the power to practice self-determination, and to determine the destiny of our community and the BLACK NATION.”

We want  a full  and complete liberation, meaning that black people must cut all ties with all oppressive elements of this society and that includes racist, corrupt, wicked,  law enforcement officials.

We do not feel extra congratulatory when one or more of the formally named  ‘slave catchers’ decides not to kill, maim, or brutalize another  impoverished black brother or sister. While we do not condone robbery or taking even a piece of thread from the people, we do not have a change in view on the historical slave catchers of black people.

The Tampa P.D. has proven ineffective against solving the issues of crime and poverty. They have only continued the “do as I say” policy of the black community’s former enslavers.

We do not believe the power of community change is in the hands of local law communities, in fact, we know  the power is in the hands of the people and our own genius to solve our own problems. Black People  must have the power to control and rid our neighborhoods or crime, drugs, and poverty.

Being respectful to authority is one thing, but we do not believe in working coalitions with law enforcement to further incarcerate black people.

With the eyes of the world on the case of Alton Sterling, Philando Castille, Michael Brown, Tamir Rice, Sandra Bland and a whole myriad of other innocent black people murdered at the hands of a trigger happy  law enforcement official, Mr. Jones still possessed the audacity, the unmitigated gall to twist his lips and say, ”I have developed  a new-found respect for the police” only because they handed him back his earrings from an alleged robbery.

The Tampa Chapter of the New Black Panther Party believes this man has lost his mind! Mr. Jones needs to do some serious soul searching.

The Tampa Chapter of the New Black Panther Party, does not respect his statement, we do not endorse his statements, we do not approve his statements or misrepresentation of our organization. Cooperation with any form of racist pigs, whether black, white, red, yellow, or otherwise, who brutalize or kill black men, women, and children is not possible, and a notion we reject on all levels.
