Ellen DeGeneres defended herself against critics who accused her of being racist after she shared a photoshopped picture of Usain Bolt.
On Tuesday, the 58-year-old talk show host hit back after sharing a criticized picture she photoshopped riding the back of Summer Olympics Gold medalist Bolt and joked it was how she “runs errands.” (RELATED: Ellen DeGeneres Sued Over ‘Titty’ Joke)
“I am highly aware of the racism that exists in our country,” DeGeneres tweeted. “It is the furthest thing from who I am.”

The photo of Bolt smiling and running way ahead of the competition went viral after the Jamaican sprinter took first place in the men’s 100 meter event at the Olympics in Rio over the weekend.
