Valar Morghulis — or, in other words, all men must die.

If we’ve learned one thing from HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” it’s that no one is safe and that includes Sophie Turner’s character Sansa Stark, who took a big step forward in season six. Luckily, Turner knows exactly how she wants her character to go.

“A long, slow episode-lasting death, where it’s just one long scene of my death and no one else,” Turner said jokingly during a recent interview. “And it’s going to be the last episode of the last season.”

Though Sansa’s fate may be up in the air, the fate of “Game of Thrones” is very clear. The fantasy drama has just two shortened seasons left in its run before calling it a night.

“We kinda always knew it would be seven or eight seasons,” she said.

“It’s really sad. It’s really uncomfortable to think about my life without ‘Game of Thrones.’ Not only has it been like a family – going to see a family every summer – but it’s also been a safety net. When I finish this I don’t actually know what’s going to happen. I might slip into a deep, deep depression because I won’t know what to do with myself. It’s going to be very strange. I feel people are going to miss it dearly.”

While fans of “Thrones” clamor over every rumor that hits the Internet, Turner has the luxury of seeing the season 7 scripts well in advance. She teased what’s to come for Sansa next year.

“I actually don’t know because of the way last season left off. There are so many options,” she said. “She could run with Littlefinger and become a villain and sadistic. Or she could also team up with her brother Jon.”

“Game of Thrones” will return to HBO in summer 2017.
