Hillary Clinton Raised $1.5 Million At Fundraiser Cher Attended

Hillary Clinton raised $1.5 million dollars at a fundraiser attended by Cher on Cape Cod.

On Sunday, the Democratic presidential nominee spoke to a small group of about a thousand people at a fundraiser held at the Pilgrim Monument & Museum in Provincetown, and Cher was one of the attendees, according to the Cape Cod Times. The 70-year-old singer reportedly did not sing for the crowd, but did make a speech before Clinton took the stage. Cher has made it clear who she is backing for president in 2016 in numerous tweets slamming Donald Trump while praising Clinton.

“Cher gave a rousing speech about why she supports Hillary,” Gabby Hanna one of the residents who attended the event said. “Hillary Clinton was amazing. She talked about her issues with passion.”

“Just landed great weekend,” Cher tweeted. “Was with Hill today In P-TOWN. It was so much fun and she gave amazing talk, was so happy to hear “all” her ideas.”

 

 

Tickets for the event ranged from $45 dollars for general admission up to $27,000 to be a co-chair and meet with Clinton.
