Chelsea Clinton thought some of the photographs of her mother on the Department of State’s website were “weird” and warranted finding a new photo editor, emails released by a conservative watchdog show.

Chelsea Clinton was advising then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on how to improve the State Department’s website. The Democratic presidential nominee liked the feedback so much she passed it on to long-time aide Huma Abedin. “These are all good ideas and I asked Huma to pass them on,” Clinton wrote in a June 2009 email recently released by Judicial Watch. “I’m copying her to ask that she have someone call or email you to respond.”

Chelsea Clinton – under her pseudonym “Diane Reynolds” – thought “its [sic] good that the site is being overhauled,” but provided suggestions like reorganizing the press releases and finding a new photo editor.

“[A]lso seriously you need someone else editing the pictures they put of you on the homepage scroll – some are fantastic and some are weird!” Chelsea wrote to the Clinton matriarch.
