MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell said on Wednesday that Hillary Clinton’s campaign should want to clean up the problems emanating from the Clinton Foundation scandal and the 15,000 more emails released.

Appearing on MSNBC’s “MTP Daily,” referring to the newly released 15,000 emails from Clinton, Mitchell said, “This is no longer a Beltway problem. This is becoming part of the narrative. We’re seeing it in the polling where it’s following her around.” (RELATED: Bahrain’s Prince Got Audience With Clinton After Donating $32 Million To Her Foundation)

Mitchell went on to argue that the Clinton campaign “should want to clean this up.”

“Especially now if Trump is suddenly getting it together and is going to just laser focus only on this issue,” host Chuck Todd added. (RELATED: 15,000 NEW Clinton Emails Set To Drop Right Before The Election)

“Steve Bannon [the new CEO of Trump’s campaign] on is no accident. This is the thing Breitbart was able to do with Clinton Cash. They were very effective. They know where, when you start to hear Donald Trump this week saying not only that this is the Clinton Foundation and pay-for-play, but this is the kind of stuff they did in Arkansas, you know right away that’s Steve Bannon, that’s somebody who has traced the history and knows what buttons to push.”
