The 34-year-old singer made it clear the project didn’t have “her blessing” after the network announced Wednesday that it is starting work on the singers biopic, according to the Entertainment Weekly. (RELATED: Britney Spears Recalls Nearly Drowning While On Vacation)

The two-hour movie aptly titled “Britney” will focus on the singer’s rise from her teen years in Louisiana, her relationship with Justin Timberlake, her time as a young pop star queen, her marriage and divorce with K-Fed, her more troubled time in the 2000s, up to her rise back to stardom.
The project will be written by Anne-Marie Hess, and directed by Leslie Libman, who did “Manson’s Lost Girls.” Filming is said to begin in September with a release date in 2017.
