Calgary Flames prospect Matthew Tkachuk paid his respects to fallen gorilla Harambe during a trophy ceremony.

Tkachuk, who was the sixth overall pick in the 2016 draft, wore an “RIP Harambe” shirt that featured Harambe’s face with a halo above it.

Harambe was shot and killed at the Cincinnati Zoo after a child fell into the gorilla enclosure. (RELATED: 5 Percent Of Americans Would Vote For Harambe The Dead Gorilla As President)
