Britney Spears said she feels nervous about performing at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The 34-year-old singer will take the stage at the famed awards show for the first time in nine years in New York Sunday night — and many are calling it a comeback.
“I think there’s something in the air at the VMAs,” she said during an interview. “It’s like electric. I can’t really explain it.” (RELATED: Britney Spears, Topless, Instagram — That’s Quite The Combination)
“Every time I’ve performed there, it’s always been one of those really big, nerve-wracking experiences, and the people that come — those celebrities — are just so much fun and different. I still get very nervous.”
