Donna Brazile defended the Clinton Foundation during a Sunday morning interview on ABC, but in the process of doing so, the interim DNC chair actually confirmed the existence of a pay-for-play relationship between the Foundation and Hillary Clinton’s State Department.
“First of all,” Brazile said to “This Week” guest host Martha Raddatz. “I’ve been a government official.”
“You know, this notion that, somehow or another, someone who is a supporter, someone who is a donor, somebody who’s an activist, saying I want access, I want to come into a room and I want to meet people,” she continued. “We often criminalize behavior that is normal.”
“I don’t see what the smoke is.”
