The most searched political issue on Google for the past week has been was immigration followed by abortion, according to analysis released by Google Trends.
The top five searched political issues Sunday in order were immigration, abortion, gun control, economy, and racism. The second-most recent Google Trends analysis released shows similar results for last Thursday. Then the top five political issues on Google were immigration, abortion, racism, gun control, and the economy.

Donald Trump’s immigration stance has been covered heavily this past week over reports that he is willing to give illegal immigrants legal status. He has stated that he will deport criminal aliens and will elaborate at a speech Wednesday on his plans for illegal immigrants in general.
Polls have consistently shown the top two policy issues for voters have been the economy and terrorism.
