Lil Wayne Leads ‘Black Lives Matter’ Chant At Concert Festival [VIDEO]

Lil Wayne lead a “Black Lives Matter” chant at a concert festival named after him.

Over the weekend, the 33-year-old rapper — whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. — took the stage in New Orleans,at his annual Lil Weezyana Festival in his hometown, according to Billboard. “We are…We are… black..black…America,” he said to the crowd who chanted along with him. “Black lives matter.” (RELATED: The Weeknd Gives $250,000 To Black Lives Matter)

The rapper then repeated something inaudible before saying “nothing else matters, because Black Lives Matter.”

Other performers at this years festival in Louisiana included rappers like 2 Chainz, Migos, and a surprise visit from Chris Brown.
